Three months after an extended deep plane preservation facelift and deep neck lift with submandibular gland reduction. Her procedure created a sharper neck angle, a more defined jawline, and naturally softer contours. Achieving this degree of improvement required careful sculpting beneath the platysma, including reduction of deep lateral neck fat, the anterior bellies of the digastric muscles, and the submandibular glands. Addressing these deeper structures allows for a more refined neck contour while preserving a thin, healthy layer of superficial fat beneath the skin—something that superficial liposuction alone cannot accomplish. She is healing beautifully, and we are both thrilled with her progress. All of my facelift procedures are performed without surgical drains and under IV sedation without intubation or a breathing tube. Surgery is performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home and recover comfortably the same day.
