This wonderful patient is only 5 weeks post op from extended deep plane facelift/neck lift. Note the improvement in the neckline and jawline. Swelling is still present under the chin, and this will continue to improve over the next couple of months.  I perform all facelift procedures without the use of drains or the need for intubation (no breathing tube required). These surgeries are completed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day.
